I was stuck in a doctor's waiting room this morning where the TV blasted out "The View,"
How can anyone watch that crap?
I found myself hoping the radiation from the X-ray machine would come through the wall and pierce my eardrum. It would have been less painful.
Four cackling hens were screaming over each other, saying stupid **** that made no sense.
Tim Hasselbeck's wife was the only one who seemed to have even half a brain.
At one point, they were talking about torturing prisoners. Forget waterboarding, make the terrorists watch and listen to this show for five minutes and they'd escort us to bin Laden's cave.
I know some sports shows sound like this, but jeez, I would have rather had a colonoscopy than have to listen to two more minutes of that dreck.

Well, she is the one conservative on the show.

That's the odd part. I'm not conservative, but I liked her.
She spoke in measured tone and wasn't trying to be funny or shocking like Whoopi, Joy and the Star Jones look-alike.

Not to get all Allen Iverson on you's, but man we're talkin about the view? really, the view? Not entertainment, not TV, the view? Not something a man goes out of his way to watch, not something that's funny or worth anyone's time, not entertainment, the view? Really?
The view, we're talking about the View.

I met Elizabeth Hasselbeck at a fund raiser several years back and she's as nice as she is hot...

I second that, Mizzou.

The View can be a very hard show to watch, especially when Joy and Whoopi go off on their tangents (although I gotta confess Whoopi's not doing as bad as I thought she would).

Liz can eat crackers in my bed anytime.

She was tops in her class at BC as well, which is something that is worth knowing every time someone says she's "an idiot" because they disagree with her political views.

She's not the one on that show who thought the world was flat...

I had the same problem last week at the hospital waiting room. They need to make an international hospital ban of waiting rooms showing that **** on tv.

Wow, I'm surprised by the outpouring of love for Elizabeth Hasselbeck, who grates on me in all the wrong ways. I find her obnoxious as all get-out.
