Deer Park and Pasadena,Tx (Stinkadena) say hi.
Cantonment, Fla., chuckles. If you've ever gotten a whiff of the paper plants around Corinth, Miss., then you know what a bad smell is.
Palatka doesn’tPerry, Fla.
"the smell of money" I was told by locals
paper mill town
Jerome, Idaho, feedlots. There's a really stinky one on I-25 south of Las Cruces, too.
Living in a city with a land-grant university, there were some pretty smelly days from the dairy barns and fertilizing some fields. Somehow that has really been curtailed, though.

In NoCal, Gilroy is the Garlic Capital of the World. There is also Merced, which used to have ketchup, don't know if it still does. And, driving up the 5, you always know when you've reached Harris Ranch.
It’s not a tumor!!!Tarrant, Ala., may be the worst I’ve smelled in the non-agricultural division. Most of the coal, iron and steel industry has pulled out of metro Birmingham, but there sits ABC Coke, with open flame shooting out of the stacks into the night sky and the most acrid smell imaginable. You can practically feel the brain tumor forming as you drive by.
