The Jamie Foxx thing has gotten really wierd

From his hospitalization with "a medical condition" in April, this story has gotten strange. It will be interesting to find out what's really gone on with him.

Very odd situation. Something serious has clearly happened. I figured the worst a few days ago, but now who knows?

I don't know if he's legally changed his name, but Jamie Foxx was born Eric Marlon Bishop in Terrell, Texas. He was a quarterback and basketball player for the Terrell Tigers in the late 1980s. He adopted "Jamie" as his first name because it was unisex enough that he could get booked as a possible female comedian, because male comics were a dime a dozen. "Foxx," of course, is an homage to Redd Foxx.
