All true. Part of the fun, too, is getting cool things! My kids did me up right.

Got Outback gift cards as well as Barnes and Noble gift cards. A dear family friend made me a travel mug with pictures of my family and friends all over it with a Starbucks gift card inside.

My family takes care of me, way too well.

My mom gave me $50, every penny of which I needed to pay to have the tow truck the cops called for my "abandoned" car NOT tow it away. Luckily, though, I arrived on the scene just in time for some holiday extortion, or I'd currently be searching Southwest Missouri for said car, spending the night in a gas station and missing work for at least three days.

Here's the actual shirt - I got a maroon one and some orange-y color I can't describe.

So that coat with two of these shirts and those cool shoes were my main haul.

Among my stocking-stuffer type gifts, usually, are a couple of CDs to check out for addition to future Moddy Mix editions.
It led to some words here tonight we never thought we'd hear in this house: Where's my Taylor Swift CD?

The Queen got a digital camera so duck if she's ever in your general direction. I got her an iHome for her new iTouch - her gift from HER SCHOOL.

I got a really cool sculpture done by an artist my mom knows in Italy.

I got a GPS (mixed feelings on that, only because I don't like clutter in my car and I already have the Sirius radio on my dashboard).

I got some clothes.

I got $300 cash in my stocking.

And I've been able to spend three days with my family, which is the most I've been with them in a couple of years.

Beautiful pendant and earrings, a book and Season 5 of "Lost". But the best gift of all, my show has been extended a week so I'm getting one more pay cheque. Woo hoo!
