I've been watching ESPN for 35 years and will always feel a sense of loyalty to it.

But this is really the most embarrassing segment they've ever aired.

"We need to remind ourselves that we are a journalistic organization and that we should not do anything that undermines that position." -- ESPN chief John Skipper 9/15/17

Was that a mic or LaVar's **** Stephen A. was clutching? That's the worst Stepen Fetchit I've seen in years.

Does LaVar have enough time to be a media star and train and tutor LaMelo?

They're trying to turn BBB into the next Nike.

Does Stephen A. have stock in BBB?

Maybe it's just get-off-my-lawn'ism but that **** was grating to watch.

Had nothing to do with a dislike for LaVar.

Yep. I found Stephen A's over-the-top preening and Everett's ass-kissing laughter far more annoying than Lavar simply being Lavar.

They're just so convinced we're eating this **** up.

ESPN is trying so hard to appeal to the 18-35 male demographic that it’s willing to compromise any kind of integrity. From Barstool Sports to yukking it up and being fancy free in postgame interviews, as long as ESPN gets in the limelight, makes you stop and look, it doesn’t care much about the means it took to get there.

Wilbon went off on this topic during PTI today. Called out any network that puts a microphone in Daddy Ball's face and said it was "editorial malpractice."

Let me guess, this was strike one, and if they do it again, it's one ... two ... three strikes you're out?
