I'd have to rewatch the movie. (Funny thing is, it's right next to The Aristocats on the shelf.) As Penn Jillette noted, it's a nice bit of word jazz.

It seems like Gottfried was the best able to deliver it well. There were some surprising performances.

People talking about comedians having filters. Some comedians won't do such and such or this and that.
Gottfried is someone that the filter doesn't exist.
With him, there is nothing that is off limits.

My memory of the movie—which I saw ages ago, so I may be off— is that George Carlin told the best version. While others piled one outrageous act upon another, he took one outrageous act and described it in meticulous detail.

In fairness, he was one of the few who seemed to have been given an opportunity to prepare a version for film. Others seemed to have been caught backstage at a show and asked to do it off the top of their head.
