After getting a little down from reading some recent posts (feel better, HH; best wishes, F_T), it's time for ANYTHING good. Like, anything. If you found a penny, let us know. If you lost a pound this week, let us know. Keep this friendly and happy, guys and gals, we all need it.

I got off early, found a great $2 happy hour at a brewhouse and drove home with my windows down since it was 70 degrees outside today.

Today was a good one. Tomorrow's gonna be even better.

Today, I took a 1:15 break, had a frozen alcoholic beverage and soaked up the sun. I love work.

For the second gorgeous day in a row I took a four-mile walk. Back to reality tomorrow, but these little respites make the light at the end of the long, harsh winter tunnel get brighter and brighter.

Don't tuck the little umbrella behind your ear and come back to work. I get in trouble a lot that way.

I have a free weekend with the family, and the weather is supposed to be nice. The youngest also starts Little League baseball practice -- and I don't have to coach!!.

It's all good.

I had one of my best workouts ever today. I'm down as much as 15 pounds since last summer. I started with spin class, then lifted for a half hour, and then hit the treadmill for 20 minutes. I was worn the hell out when I got home. But some intense workouts are badly needed these days.

Today is one of the days I love living in Seattle. Absolutely amazing sunny day, still a tad cold, but walking outside seeing the weather put me in a great mood.

I'm still a fat **** but my dogs love me. A lot. Got a great greeting when I walked in the door today. Perhaps because I'd stopped at the treat store but what the hell? It was still nice. Two of them are stretched out next to me now giving their new "hoofies" a workout. Things smell like ****. Really. But the dogs love them. And they love me!

(Great thread idea. I can't even turn on the TV anymore because it's too depressing.)

My baby is looking like he's going to be a good sleeper.

I just bought two Katy Perry tix for her sold-out show in Cleveland at the end of the month for under face value from some guy on Craigslist. I think it would be a fun experience to go to the show, but at the very least I can flip them for double my money based on what every single other person in the world is selling their tix for.

For the Canuckistanis, I just bought tickets to the Tragically Hip at the Orpheum, a nice small venue to see them at.

I might, might, play some amateur hardball this weekend, for the first time in eight years.

Filling in for some folks who are flaking out in a 28-and-over league, and the manager of the team said they needed some bodies.

I'm not in game shape, by any means -- hit the batting cages for fun once a month and play catch a couple times a year -- but I know my way around the field so I won't embarrass myself. Just hope they'll let a young ringer in, since I'm not 28 yet. 8)

My husband had the day off, I filed my weekly Saturday notebook early and we had a little day time hanky panky.
