Glad you have seen the light Fenian. We've been pointing it out on this side of aisle for about 5 years .

The more things change, the more they stay the same in Washington, D.C..

She didn't have much to go anyway. She didn't want to be the next Dennis Hastert.

Madame Speaker after discovering that Whitlock was indeed an inny.

Apparently Nancy knows more about Whitlock than we care to know.

Fenian's just upset because now using his standard of "no crimes means no crimes" had dealt his ability to start idiotic whining threads about George W. has be dealt another serious blow......Foof

An impeachment would be a complete waste of time. I've long ago accepted that the best thing to do is hold your nose, pray things go as well as possible overseas, and wait for Jan 2009. It's sad, I know. But realistically, that's all we can do.

I disagree. Put him through the ringer. School children 100 years from now should realize what a crummy, Constitution-shredding chief executive he was.

Too many people have held their nose and waited patiently for seven years.

but, but, but "NO CRIMES MEANS NO CRIMES......"

Yeesh, it's Jan. 3 and Fenian and I agree once again.

There's nothing, and I mean nothing, we Red Staters like more than the Dems spilling their precious seed on the ground on impeachment. In an election year.

More, please.

We've got lots of seed and are used to spilling it, so don't tempt us.

If we can't hang him, we have to be able to impeach him.

I'm not tempting you, I'm begging you.

But first, let me post a warning:

W is a pathetic, insignificant little man. How many times do the current Republican hopefuls mention him in a debate? Or in a stump speech? Impeaching him will only cast him as a sympathetic figure. If they were going to impeach him, it should have been done years ago.

.

Says a lot about the state of the Republican party when its die-hards believe that the president getting impeached is the best thing that could happen to them this year.

And by the way, this meme that the Democrats would face retribution from voters if they pursued impeachment is contradicted by almost every opinion poll on the subject.

But hey, whatever gets you to election day ...
