Seriously though, Tebow has probably already done a better job handling (or deflecting anyway) questions about faith, abortion, gay marriage, etc. than about 90 percent of the Republicans in Congress.

But he has been able to, because ultimately his opinion has no bearing.

"Would you vote to outlaw same-sex marriage?" to a Congressman is a much different question than "What's your opinion on same-sex marriage?" to a quarterback.

Reminds me of the line when Colin Powell was considering a presidential run. Great numbers, but his approval rating would drop 20 points the first time he took a side on ANYTHING, no matter which.
