I hear there is more to this story. I don't know all the ins and outs, but it sounds like the situation was brewing for a while and the confrontation had little to do with the girl not starting and more to do with the coach's treatment of players.
Now, that doesn't make it right, but it does add some perspective.
Also, Preston was eliminated in the semifinal, the first game after the incident. It was a big upset.
