Stupid Axios crap

Everyone's favorite tweet-like news publisher is selling AxiosHQ, software that will enable businesses to update their employees—including through internal newsletters—in the Axios bullet-point style, which it calls "“exponentially more efficient." Starts at $10,000 a year. It claims $1M in sales already, to Delta and AT&T.
Does anyone else get a migraine trying to translate Axios into English? Here's a recent example:

When our company switched over to CUE a couple of years ago for its web publishing, they replaced the usual <bullet> commands with an easier "list bullet" thingy. For some reason the writers and web producers have latched onto it like it was some newfangled toy. I've seen stories that had 40+ bullets out of 50something paragraphs.

The really bad news for print is that those list bullets have ****ed-up indentions where all lines except the first line with the bullet are indented a pica or so. It turns what would be, say, a 30-inch story into a 35-inch one. Just because of excess indentation.
