This is priceless. Maryland state lawmakers want committed juvies under the age of 21 to be eligible for free tuition at any public instituion in the state. Nice effort.

Well stealing a car never stopped someone from getting a scholarship. Hell, Rich Rodriguez signed a linebacker a year or two ago who was involved in an armed robbery at a Starbucks. He just laid low for a bit, and later that summer brought the kid in. Even Ohio State decided no linebacker was good enough to deal with that.

I see Bob Wade didn't completely disappear ...

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change.
If they were to pass this (and I hope they don't), they should make it a probation violation with mandatory jail time if the juvies screw up even once while on scholarship.

I'm certain your average lower-middle class family will be delighted to have their daughters housed in coed dorms with these offender/scholars- while borrowing the thousands their kids will need for the privilege.

Another fine social experiment. And politicians love feel-good measures, the requisite funding, taxation and wasteful bureaucracy (affirmative action hired life-timers with generous pensions who wouldn't last one week in the private sector).

If anything good comes out of the economy tanking and the federal reserve dollar not being worth the paper it's printed on is crap like this is not going to be bankrolled.

That's all they need to ****ing do. These idiots make it difficult for students to learn in the public schools. Let the terrorists into college classrooms now. ****. Nothing is ever earned, from inherited business to freeloading **** for bad people who don't deserve it. The only difference is the checkbook balance. The middle class who busts their ass? **** them. They're the working poor.

Terrorists?
You could have made your point a lot better without the hyperbole.

Crap. Here we go with the politically correct linguistics.

Yeah, and here we go with the peg everyone who is different than you as terrorists.
They are dumb thugs and criminals, nothing more, nothing less.

No, McVeigh is a terrorist, Al-Queda are terrorists, criminals are terrorists. Their field of play and rules just differ. Got that?

No, because you were only right on the 1st 2.

If a person enters my home with the intent of robbing or doing harm to my family, then they are a terrorist. Maybe you consider them a poor misguided soul. More power to you.

No, I consider them a criminal, whom, by the way, if it involves my family, will be lucky they don't leave the house in a body bag.
I think if a Muslim or black ever moved onto your street, you'd die of a stroke.

I'm gonna send Yawn the first season of this CBC comedy. And trust me, it's pretty damn funny:

The bald guy in the middle is Carlo Rota who plays Chloe's ex on 24

Dumbass. I befriended a Muslim who after 9/11, simply wanted to come to our church to "better understand something I'm not" and help them "understand that not all of us are like those who commit evil." I have his letter thanking him for being one of the first to embrace him. Again, you don't know me.
