Interesting that they changed the name to U.S. Sportspages.

For the newer people here, sportspages.com was the predecessor of SportsJournalists.com.
I don't know the whole story but the original message board over there was the Wild ****ing West. Didn't have to register, Anon 3:35 was the handle of choice and it was crazy.
Rick Johnson (the creator) eventually shut the board down. I heard that he was getting pressured by some high profile editors and he caved.
That's when Webby started this place.
Correct me if I'm wrong, Moddy or Webby.
