Could be something's up with the Bay City Times, Flint Journal and Saginaw News....

This is likely the Bay City/Saginaw/Flint version of the Ann Arbor web site, except that BC/S/F will have a published product three days of the week.

Flint is cutting down its production; Bay City and Saginaw are so close together they should have basically one paper. Hate to say it, but if this is some form of what's going on in AA, it might be a good call.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't these guys just lay off a boat load of people AND cut publication days to less than a full week?

So what gives? Is this the fire the 35K guy and replace him with someone to do the same work for 25K? Or is this a different operation?

Is this Web site the competition for mlive in the area? I can't believe mlive is shaking in its boots.

Not $12 an hour cheap

Actually, it just might be. We're talking some real deserted places here. Which is why no one wants to buy the houses, even for these prices.

No, we're not. Not even close. Trust me.

100,000 people is deserted? Cripes.

Between the city and townships, Saginaw is about 100,000. Flint is 125,000 in the city. Bay City is 40,000 (while Midland is about 50,000).

TwoGloves is right. It's not a $12 an hour cheap town.
