Anybody see it? Albom used his parting shot to talk about Michael Imperolli's poor skills with a bat. In other words, it was a shameless plug for his TV movie tonight. Pathetic.

It's too bad Whitlock isn't allowed there anymore. That fat ***** would fit right in with Loopy and the Dwarf.

He was ditched for not fitting in with Loopy and the Dwarf...

True. I guess fitting in has never been Big Fun's strong suit.

Especially if you're talking about pants ...

Unnecessary!!!!

They talked about the Heisman Trophy quite authoritatively.
What's the over-under on the number of college football games Michael's been to in the last five years?

Is that Michael Kay you're referring to?

Seriously, how in the holy **** does he still have that gig? All he does is scream on the radio in the afternoon then suck at the all-glorious teat of the Yankees at night. Dude quit anything resembling journalism a long, long, long time ago.

Actually, I think the you could count the number of games all four have been to on both hands... well, maybe Ryan went to some BC games, but Saunders and the Little People?

I can not even remember the last time I watched TSR. Honestly, at 10am on Sundays, if you're a reporter, you should be watching Howard Kurtz's Reliable Sources on CNN.

I haven't watched an entire one since before **** Schaap died. I couldn't stand Lupica and Albom then, either.

I grew up watching this show. I'd make a point to get up early, shower and make breakfast before sitting down at 10 a.m. I didn't want to miss a word. I still to that to a degree now, though it's not the end of the world if I miss part or all of it. I enjoy hearing the different perspectives -- if they disagree -- but I think it's more because I relate the show now as a tradition of my past. I certainly don't watch it to hear something I haven't heard all week long.

No, I shouldn't.

I equate TSR to The Sporting News. A can't miss some 15-20 years ago, but today, you watch it or read it because it's something you've done all along. And every time you come across it, you remind yourself how pathetic the program has become.

I used to record TSR and watch it after church. Now, even with the simplified DVR where I could've pushed one button last year and had 52 weeks of TSR archives, I don't even bother.

I watch to see how much I can stomach; some days I watch it all, some days I don't get out of the intros...

It's the victim of too many shows with the same format. I still watch it if I remember, but it was appointment television for me as recently as 5 years ago. Now, there are 10 shows/segments a day on ESPN alone which have the same format.

Having said that, I watched the parting shots yesterday and was shocked that Albom pimped for his movie -- usually that's Saunders' job.
