The Enquirer/Cincinnati.com is looking for a dynamic leader for our Sports Media Group, in a great big-league town. You will guide our content and be a full partner with Advertising and Marketing groups to grow audience and revenue. You will be very strategic in leading a team covering the Reds, Bengals, UC, Xavier and high school sports in the greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. You will produce content distributed to consumers across multiple mobile apps, desktop site, two daily newspapers and 26 weeklies. http://www.cincinnati.com/sports/
You will join a team that has won national awards for storytelling, reporting, videos, and digital experience, and one that leads the region in innovation with video programming, hosting live events and podcasts in bars, and creating unique digital content.
You must be able to lead top-notch journalism. You must have a curiosity about and commitment to our customers’ needs. You must be comfortable using data and working with an analyst and Content Marketing director in the newsroom to shape your decisions. You must be able to lead a team in a fast-moving environment, with an ability to build coalitions. You must be an effective communicator and presenter to internal and external groups.
