The (Upper Sandusky) Daily Chief-Union and Kenton Times both are hiring a reporter.
Job responsibilities will include covering school board and council meetings, as well as writing features. Depending on abilities, the reporter may be able to do some or even quite a bit of sports reporting as well. Some job responsibilities can be shared among staff members according to interests. Some photography and page design will be part of the job but can be taught.
It is preferred that candidates have a degree in journalism or a related field. No previous experience is necessary but would be great. The job requires some evening an weekend responsibilities but also offers flexibility in completing many responsibilities.
