What qualifies Thomas McInerney to be a military analyst?
Does he know anything about the military?

LOL.

You know, you could've googled him in less time than it took you to type this and spared yourself from such a dumb post.

There was a stretch of about 5 years in the early '80s when my mom looked like Barbra's doppelganger.

Well, apparently at some point, a mine went off in his helmet. Otherwise he wouldn't be saying such stupid ****.

What is said was indisputably wrong. He obviously has no credibility to speak on the subject.

Vietnam Veterans Against John McCain's file

I don't judge McCain for what he did, but it's not a new claim, and it is based on his own word, recorder in captivity in Vietnam, and written in his autobiographies.

For all his experience, he certainly said some pretty stupid ****, didn't he? Is what I said really any dumber than what McInerney said?

The guy's also a birther. Is what I said really any dumber than that?

The names he gave up were the Green Bay Packers offensive line.

I'll take the word of Politifact over some "gotcha" video that's supposed to be "his own words!"

I wouldn't judge McCain or any other American POW, in a severe torture situation.

But, now, imagine Capt. Bone Spurs in the same situation. Just imagine him in that room.

That goes for the other ctitics, too. Including this idiot general. Let McCain live out his days with peace and respect.

Simple. Politifact is right. You're wrong.

I’m wrong about what?

I didn’t make any negative claim about McCain. A only said that the “songbird” claim isn’t new, and that there is at least a basis for it. Whether it’s a fair claim, I can’t judge.

There are veterans who strongly support McCain, and others who hate him, and feel he did not do the right thing.

I can’t imagine what he went through, and would never blame him.

I do find it interesting how the degree to which people get outraged about criticism of McCain depends on where McCain stands on the current hot button topic, and whether or not he’s the Republican nominee for president.

Even the National Review thinks McInerney is full of ****.

Then you should've called him a stupid birther instead of demanding to know what a guy with this resume could possibly know about the military.

You selected the worst retort possible for the thread's initial response.

Political concern trolling.
