Don't know who got this idea first, but ...

From Jim McCabe of the Boston Globe:
Quickly approaching the desperation point, the Bears have one last option at quarterback. They can line up with Devin Hester 20 yards behind the line of scrimmage, hike him the ball, and let him run.

And from Bill Simmons of ... (**** it, I'm not giving them a free plug):
And why didn't anyone mention the easiest possible fix for the Bears' offense, the one that was e-mailed to me 25 times last weekend ... namely, that they should just stick Devin Hester 20 yards behind the center and snap to him on every down?

So, bigbadeagle, what exactly makes you think this may be a matter of plagiarism, as your headline would seem to imply? The use of "Devin Hester" and "20 yards" in the same sentence? Or the idea that Hester could simply be hiked the ball on a direct snap and let loose to run for daylight?

I'm all for it -- hiking the ball to Hester, that is, not plagiarism
