Which woefully underachieving coach will lose his job first?

Jim Mora? Denny Green? Art Shell? Jon Gruden? Someone else?

Mora, Green and Shell are toast. Cowher walks away. Gruden and Coughlin are safe for now.
Tuna can't make up his mind.

The only reason Coughlin is still safe is the Giants have a game next weekend.

He's still toast unless the Giants pull a 1999 Mets and race to the NFC title game. Somehow, I don't see it happening.

Sorry, BYH.. somone who would know told me that 3 different people in the organzation told him Coughlin was safe as long as they beat the Redskins and made the playoffs.

Only a total lie-down-like-dogs debacle against the Eags (like 40-0) would change that

And you know there's a pretty good chance of that happening.

If Mora isn't the first one fired, that would be a major upset here.

What happens if Parcells becomes available?

If Shell stays, its so Al Davis can give a big **** You to Adam Schefter, which isn't a badthing

Gruden is supposedly safe.

I don't see how Mora survives past 9 am today. Happy New Year!!!!

So what coach will Vick suck for next year?

As a bitter Falcons fan (is there any other kind), I'm pretty interested to know which team Mora will suck for next year. Plenty of blame to go around in this train wreck (and yes, Vick bears a great deal), but there's no doubt Jimmy Boy was the architect of this disaster. Still think he has the potential to be a decent coach, but he's going to have to learn that buddying-up to players, constantly sticking his foot in his mouth in the media and refusing to abandon his sinking ship of an offensive coordinator due to their prior friendship isn't exactly a recipe for long-term success.

Bring back Glanville!

Gritz Blitz, BABY!

Hey, maybe Art can buy June Jones away from Hawaii too :)

While we're at it, does anybody know if the old Swamp Fox is available (third time's the charm) :)

Laugh if you will, but Dan Reeves was the one coach who showed he knew how to use Vick. He was only axed when the team sucked the year Vick missed the first 11 games. Obviously Blank won't bring him back, but he should swallow his pride and pick Reeves' brain, if he hasn't done that already.

Mora shouldn't have gotten the job in the first place so when he's canned today, another mistake in Atlanta history will be corrected.
Shell is safe. He's a good guy but sunfortunatley, he's going to have to chage with the times if he hopes to compete.
Denny Green isn't in as much trouble as people think. He's had a couple of good drafts. I think they're gioing to give him one more season before taking action.
Gruden is golden in Tampa Bay. That that to the bank.

Slappy, I hope you were joking.

Yeah, a guy in charge of a multi-billion dollar outfit would keep an awful coach and risk another pitiful year JUST so he can stick it to a reporter. Sounds about right.

Mora---gone
Shell---gone
Green--gone
Gruden---safe
Crenell---safe

ESPN.com reports that Green was fired this morning.

oops D3 beat me to it.
