Now that I'm starting to prepare for fantasy leagues, it seemed like a good time to bring back this league. Looking forward to getting knocked out by some bizarre upset Week 1.

Chris Hanson Coffee Clatch is in and just wants you to have a seat.

Finally advanced through Week One, though the Chargers certainly tried to keep the streak alive.

Looks like all but one player has been eliminated.
This, thanks to the Giants and the Colts both losing.
Viper Vixens and (maybe) Coffee Clatch might be the only ones left standing tonight.
Vixens, BTW, took the Patriots and they are in a dogfight today, too.

What would happen if we there was nobody available to claim the crown?

Wow last year three of us went to week 15. Of course I was out in week 1 (thanks, Chiefs!) this year.

Pretty sure there is still someone available to take the crown.

What do I get? Is it a pretty crown? I want it to be really sparkly.

If you also known as Viper's Vixens then you are likely the winner of the certainly-sparkly crown.
There was a question of whether Coffee Clatch failed to make his weekly pick, which I'm assuming would eliminate him. Check the Yahoo site.
Are you affiliated with the Vixens?

Yes, that would be me. :) And I am guessing that not making a pick would eliminate someone. Though I could be wrong on that.

Yep, no pick made is an elimination.

This may be the earliest we've had a winner.

Since it's so early, we could have the commish restart the league. There is a lot of football left after all. Or just leave it as is.

I am all for starting another one. As long as I get to claim FIRST winner of 2010 and that I still get a sparkly crown :)

Oh, and I am pretty sure I will need some of the men that lost to bow down and admit that they lost to a girl. A girl that does not actually work in sports or journalism.

:)

The Chris Hanson Coffee Clatch forgot to make my pick as I was tied up in Canadian Thanksgiving festivities.

I would have picked Seattle fwiw :)

Stop living in the past! (And congrats on the win!)

You know, I said the same thing to my daughter today. I think I did that because my shiny Yahoo trophy has 2010 on it and I was temporarily blinded by the brightness of it ;D

LiesIntx FTW. But enough about you, we've got twelve more weeks to embarrass ourselves like a Manning. Let's start another one.
