So, my new kitty has an ear infection, and I'm trying to figure out the best way to care for it sans dropping $200 for antibiotics/vet call..........

If its going to cost $200 for the vet call and the medicine then find a new vet. That's way overpriced (yes, I am a cat owner too)

This reminds me of one of the Dysfunctional Family Circus ripoffs, which are actually pretty good and arguably better than the DFC's best. One of the comics had Kittycat sitting on top of the Keene Family's old-ass TV, and Dolly points to it all angry and says "Billy lied! He told me there was ***** on TV!"

Now that's high comedy.

Good link, but they really should learn how to spell "ear."

Thanks for the link. Much appreciated.......oh, and kitty says thanks, too.

I've got nothing against cats. But I can't believe this thread has been up for 90 minutes and has yet to get its first "rock, bag and a river" reference.

This link has been up for over two and a half hours and nobody's said "I thought this thread was about Brittney Spears" yet. ::) ;D

I can't believe this thread's been up for three hours and nobody's commented on the uncomfortable juxtapositioning of a sick cat and a guy named Chef.

Bastards

Back when my wife and I first started dating, her cat got really sick. The vet gave her saline that had to be administered via IV into the cat.

The next day we're over at my house watching football with my roommates. The game ends, I stand up and say "Okay, let's go hydrate the kitty." To this day my buddies laugh about that saying.

(The cat, btw, is still doing fine.)
