The gal doing the transcriptions in the front row ... smokin. My goodness.

I said something to Fuerte about that earlier. He wasn't as impressed as I was. He may be too young to have a taste for such an obviously sophisticated woman -- with great cans.

She did have great cans. And I was impressed by that. But other than that, not really my type. NOt saying I'd turn her down, though.

Upon further review, and face-to-face contact with said stenographer, Fuerte recants his prior statements. Not only is she my type, her cans are tremendous. Holy Fuerte! Smokin doesn't even come close to describing.

An SEC SID, during the press conference today when the moderator asked if there were any more questions, leaned into me and said, 'Yeah, a question for the lady doing the typing. Are they real?' Priceless.

Pick a person -- first, second or third -- for your voice and stay with it....
Slappy and I don't like it when he has to watch someone describe themselves in several persons...

Gottlieb all over UK on ESPN right now. Says they don't deserve to be in tourney, but they'll get in because they're Kentucky. Not sure I disagree with him, but their RPI is so good that it'd be hard to leave UK out. But RPI is more flawed than the BCS, so whatever.

But he did say UK's marquee win was UT in Rupp. Did he forget about at Louisville? Of course, that Louisville team was much different than the one playing now, but that UT team didn't have Lofton either.

I don't know about Gottlieb. He'll make a very good point, then all the sudden throw something out that makes no sense.

I say let Ole Miss, State and Arkansas put an all-star team together, take on the Gators, best of three.

It was fun watchin' Brady stew on the LSU bench. Put in one of his stiffs in the first half and then read him the riot act 26 seconds later. What did you expect, nimrod?

Gotta give the edge to Stansbury and his freshmens in Game One on Saturday. If Ole Miss can cover the spread against Florida, they've accomplished something.

You should have seen "PTI" with Five Good Minutes from Joe Lunardi, Bracketologist. He said Kentucky's got a false RPI because it's essentially beaten no one this season. As such, Lunardi said the Wildcats probably ought to be a double-digit seed, which sent Tony K over the edge, screaming.

"Kentucky a double-digit seed? What's the point of inviting them then, telling them they have no shot?"
"OK, then we could just invite another team that would be happy to be there."
