The AJC is seeking recent college graduates or current seniors to blog about SEC football this season. We’ll assign at least one person to each SEC team. You must have a journalism degree and/or related journalism experience. We need bloggers who understand new media, and have the time to write at least three blogs of 200-400 words per day, seven days per week. Please send your resume and clips to [email protected]

• This editor will write stories and curate published material for a site serving SEC football fans.
• The editor must know new media and video as well as have a deep knowledge and access to college football’s people and places.
• The editor will write or curate content with broad appeal that isn’t wonky or too insider but focuses on viral stories all fans will enjoy and share. This editor must understand what the fan audience needs and wants each day of the week and have the ability to see and produce socially sharable content consistently throughout the day.
• The editor will be assigned a “beat” that includes several teams and will manage all social distribution channels serving those teams’ fans.
• The editor can work remotely

I took that to mean more than one blogger for each school.

I might have Bama, Auburn and Georgia.
You might have LSU, Georgia and Florida.
Someone else might have Tennessee, Kentucky and Georgia.

So there would be overlap and combined coverage.
Everyone works the blogs, everyone feeds the Twitter.

Or, yeah. The ad could be wrong.

Could be, didn't think of that. That would be interesting. They could assign each school a fanboy and a hater. Ex: The guy who poisoned the Auburn tree can be the Bama fanboy and Auburn hater.

Also, the ad says one can work remotely. Does this mean applicants do not NEED to live in close proximity to a SEC school?
