A divorce would be downright mavericky

Not to mention, it wouldn't be quitting. Definitely not quitting. There's just no sense in being a lame duck spouse.

Exactly. Staying married would just be marriage-as-usual.

Why can't I find a damn point guard to date?

You should go back through the microfilm of your local paper from the year you graduated, and search for the point guards your age. Then call 'em up.

If it turns out to be true it would be confirmation that the McCain people did the worst vetting job in history, surpassing even McGovern/Eagleton.

WHAT vetting job?

Given that any vetting appeared at the time to begin and end with, "Rove likes her . . "

Funny stuff. I dated a point guard before. Definitely good times.

As for Sarah Palin, please, please, please, please, please go away FOREVER!

Todd Palin is the most disappointed man in America tonight.

Are you saying because he's not getting divorced?

If so, classic response on your part.

I realize Obama's popularity has taken a hit lately, but when I think where we'd be if any of the other top three candidates from either party were in the Oval Office, it makes me grateful that Obama is there.

And that said - why not go after these blogs floating this swill about Palin. I'm not saying demand that they out a source, but at least determine who they are and where they are coming from.

After reading the Esquire piece at Todd Palin a few months back, I was struck by how different the two of them are. I know opposites attract, and that Alaska's a small-population state. Still, that they wound up married given their personalities is kind of astounding.
