San Diego?

Work trip next week, with five days of staying and about two and a half days of actual work.

So looking for things to see and places to eat. I'll have a car.

Ironically: Padres are here in D.C. this weekend, and still out of town while I'm there, so that's a no go.

Who else has good recommendations?

My hotel is right by the Midway, and history (and naval history!) are in my sweet spot. That museum is already on my list for sure.

The beachfront down by the Midway is a great place. Lots of shops and restaurants.

Take the bridge to Coronado Island and check out the Hotel Del.

The Gaslamp near Petco Park has a lot of good places to eat and drink.

Balboa Park, near the zoo, has a lot of cool museums.

Ocean Beach is nice. Nothing to do but to walk around and look at the water. There is a small brewery
