I would hope that a six year old isn't screwed for life. It's certainly not going to look good in his permanent record.

How ****ed up is that kid's life now? Does a 6-year-old wind up in juvenile detention for the next 12 years? Does a first grader understand attempted murder charges?
And to think, when he hits 21 he'll be back in society.

The boy’s mother had purchased the gun legally, Drew said, but it remains unclear whether the boy or anyone else will be charged in connection with the case that has shocked a nation that has grown accustomed to school shootings.

Virginia teacher who was shot by six-year-old tried to confiscate gun – report

All good. From the Guardian article:
Our thoughts and prayers are with the teacher and her family, and we are hopeful she will recover from this ordeal.”

I find that I am far less bothered by "thoughts and prayers" when they don't come from politicians who have the power to actually attempt to change the law.

Parent of the child “could” be charged.

Jesus ****.

I also heard the kid fired two shots. Two.
