Holy ****, would it be awesome for that to happen in something that matters. I'm sure if the BCS opened up its data to public inspection, there would be hundreds of cases that would put the whole thing on shaky legal ground.

Dear Blitz: The following are my Gator Bowl travel tips.
1. Rent a car. You need it.
2. Head said car to the beaches ASAP. That's where the good restaurants, bars, etc. are.
3. Avoid downtown until the game, unless you are going to attend one of the big fan rallies they have.
I'll be down in Ponte Vedra Beach December 26-January 2 myself, so feel free to PM me with questions, etc.

Yes, we are staying at the Wyndham Riverwalk and I'd appreciate some info.
There is the Bulldog N.Y. Eve blowout set for some place down near there but I'd love some good inside info on other stuff.

OK, here's a start. You should eat dinner at the Homestead. It's a big, not too expensive restaurant on Beach Boulevard (U.S. 90) in Jacksonville Beach. Ask your hotel staff for directions. It has fantastic fried chicken, which you simply cannot get up my way.

The SEC is offended by your allegation. If he ended up at Mississippi State because that was where he believed his educational opportunities would be greatest, it would be regardless of the fact his dad was shopping him. His dad would be banished for asking for money, but if Pops just asked and (cough cough) Cam didn't know about it, then Cam would be in the clear. And since we can't find the check stub, we'd all just assume no deal was consummated even though everyone acknowledges Dad asked for the money.

Simple, really.
