So sad. I can't imagine how encouraging having him around would be for the next few decades would be just for some Olympic hopeful fighting for funding and training time in a sport that doesn't get much attention. Bobsledding or whatever.....getting a call from that guy after a disappointing finish in some far away land, you're cold and homesick, would be such an asset. Such a loss.
