The 60s are dying. Since I am a child of the '60s, this concerns me. Man From UNCLE was silly, but a hoot, which I knew even at the time. He was fantastic in Magnificent Seven, probably the only deep role in the movie.

Loved his various appearances in Columbo, which he used played the heavy / murderer in. Plus, he did a ton of commercial spots when I was a kid.

I thought he was best as a villain in Bullitt and later in a couple of episodes of Law & Order as Adam Shefter's nemesis.

Kind of a shame that a majority of us know him mainly through lawyer commercials. He was the epitome of cool TV espionage for quite a while.
