RIP Mark Knoller

I hope everyone has had a chance to work with a "Mark Knoller" type of reporter in their time in journalism. This is a guy that kept a data base of how many rounds of golf presidents played, how many vacation days they took. One of those reporters whose middle name should have been "Institutional Memory." One of the few WH Correspondents who never made it about themselves.

A staple of CBS News Radio. It feels like I listened to his reports my entire life, and I ain't no spring chicken.
Loved seeing him on TV among the pack using his boom mic. Didn't he accidently bump a prez with it once?
Don't know if radio reporters are made like him anymore.
RIP Mr. Knoller.
