This sucks. One of my favorite albums is a compilation album from the Newport Jazz Festival in 1972 - which was held in New York. Les McCann played a set at Yankee Stadium from July 8, and although I've only heard the first three songs from it (I've tried to find the whole thing to no avail - I don't even know if he played more than three songs, to be honest), it is tight. An instrumental, followed by Nat Adderley Jr.'s "The Price You Got to Pay to be Free," and then it ends with a slowed-up version of "What's Goin' On" with a great electric piano solo. For being only 20 minutes, I love every second of it.
