If you're a longtime hockey fan, then surely you are familiar with Larry Wigge's work and his dedication to the sport. Longtime NHL writer and columnist at Sporting News, and, as the story goes, Larry Wigge knew so much about the league that coaches and GMs often called him for information on players and other insider stuff. Shame there wasn't a news story somewhere about his passing, but at least he got some Twitter love ...
