Jerry Lewis, Comedy Legend, Dies at 91

Mostly knew him from the telethons. He did great things with his career. Probably could have done more dramatic stuff if he chose to (Check out King of Comedy if you haven't seen it). Labor Days haven't been the same for a while now. You see Jerry on TV, you know your summer is over.

Spent a lot of time as a kid in the '70s and '80s watching the telethon.

I once felt Will Ferrell was going the Jerry Lewis route....tremendous physical comidien who ended up doing the same themed movies over and over again. That said, there were few you could match Lewis in his prime. He just making the same kinds of movies deep the 1970s

As stated, King of Comedy was an excellent film that should have been spring board to a new career for him.
