RIP: Jefferson Pilot telecasts

I like the cutline that said "Without Jefferson Pilot, watching Kentucky football games will be eerily different."

Um...no one watches Kentucky football.

Which gives UK about 100,000 more followers than Duke football.

The singular reason I'm glad I don't live in the Central time zone: 11:30 a.m. kickoffs. It was bad enough getting up to watch a road game at 12:30, let alone actually getting to the stadium by then. I can't fathom having to be in the stadium — theoretically at least — at 11:30 in the morning.

Any San Jose State fans? 

11:30? We get started with kickoffs at 11:05! Who in their right minds would kickoff at 11:30?!?!?!?! Division II?

Oh, and Slappy...the game you're thinking of was the LSU-UK hail mary game. LSU got the ball on its 2 on the kickoff, caught a pass up to the 25, called a timeout, then hit the bomb to win it.
