Knew it was coming, but still crushing.
He fought and he fought and he fought.
Nobilo was such a mess earlier that Lerner threw it to him to say something about him, and he said he couldn't do it justice,so he punted to Chamblee.
To Todd Lewis from Golf Channel........that was powerful.

Damn, pretty tough to read after looking at the picture of him playing checkers with his daughter.
The obit hed made me curious. Here's the full quote. A champion for others, right to the end and beyond ...

"Thanks for your support, it meant the world. My time was short, but if I've helped people think and act on behalf of those families who suffer through cancer, hopefully it wasn't wasted."

 
Once he was put in palliative care, I was hoping he'd go quickly, just to lessen the pain on his family. Such a sad, sad story. I've yet to hear anyone say a bad word about him. RIP, Jarrod.
