Geoffrey Lewis Dead; Juliette Lewis’ Father Was 79 | Variety

It was only a couple years ago that I found out he was the father of actress/musician Juliette Lewis, but he was one of those "That Guys," that you've seen in some movie or another, many of which he appeared with Clint Eastwood.

I'll always remember him as Orville Boggs in "Every Which Way But Loose" and its sequel.

Never realized he was Juliette's father.

Also was a Scientologist, apparently.

Funny, he is the ultimate THAT GUY, but I honestly can't recall specifically anything he's been in. Certainly, I've seen High Plains Drifter numerous times, and likely most of Every Which Way But Loose, but as soon as I saw the pic I pegged him as a guy from one of the 70s shows I watched as a kid, but he never had a regular role on any that I watched regularly.
