"Silver Tipped Stu" was channel 4's Stu Nahan, not Ed Arnold.
Jesus, Jim Healy was unmerciful on Stu.

This is interesting to about four people on this board, but Ed Arnold and KTLA channel 5 did a meaty, half hour sports report on Saturday and Sunday nights in the mid 1980s. If you didn't have cable/ESPN, it was a darn good substitute.

Yes, brain cramp. And Healy never let up on Stu, who also did time at KTLA after Olbermann left for KCBS.
