I think Saget would have appreciated that. Not quite a wiffle ball to the nuts, but close enough.

I’m pretty set on not going to sleep for a few hours after I’ve conked my head, which happens quite often given I have 10-20 pound pneumatic wrenches swinging around me for 10 hours a day. Even with head protection, I’ve had a couple that I thought might give me a concussion, the worst being a 15-pound metal seat slamming straight down on my head. This only validates that policy.

If there was no sign of a struggle, how could he have been beaten to death? Also, isn't it possible he fell once, fracturing the back of his head and then fell again getting to the bed and broke his face?

Falls are weird. A friend of mine, her mother fell in her kitchen a week ago and struck her head. The damage was severe. They attempted brain surgery, but it was not successful. She never regained consciousness and died last night.

My sister in law fell the same day in her laundry room. She suffered a brain bleed and broken shoulder and went blind in her right eye. They couldn't stop the bleed for days and she eventually went blind in her left eye. She was always conscious. The brain bleed did finally stop and vision is returning in her left eye. But she has a long road ahead of her.

These were small, slim women. A big, heavy guy falling in the shower and landing directly on his head could be catastrophic. Hell, maybe they did off him, but why would they do it in a fashion that raises questions?

When I was in my early 20s, I was a volunteer EMT in my hometown. One of the things that always stuck with me from the class was that a fall from a standing height can be fatal to an adult.

Went to a high school basketball game on Friday and walking out, about 10 feet from the door, police were giving CPR to an older man, and it looked very, very bad. The following day I heard he'd slipped on ice coming out of the game, hit his head and died. He was 82. Hearing how he died somehow made it much sadder than if it'd been a heart attack.
