"Revenge Porn"

Sports Journalists Forum – Media, Newsroom & Reporting Talk

Help Support Sports Journalists Forum:

This is an open and shut case. Said "victims" openly and willingly took the pictures. It's like when photos of Madonna or Vanna White appeared in Playboy. They were not originally intended for public consumption but since they willfully took part, then the law sees them has having given consent. Case closed ladies.

Moral of the story: If you want to make some homemade porn, better make sure you're the one who has possession of it. And if you don't want anyone to see it, then destroy it.

But, hey, the lawyer can promise all 26 women he'll win and they'll believe it and pay him his fees. He's just screwing them, too, ... all the way to the bank.

I was reading the puns in here and started thinking, and I thought I was going to have a really awful thought translating all the "gang-bangs" I've been in as a writer into a mental image of us all, you know, having a gang-bang....but thankfully my brain put that in Operation Shutdown and literally will not allow me to form a mental picture of it. I'd high five my cerebellum but I really don't need another concussion.

The parents say their JV porn stars work just as hard.

You're gonna cost them porn scholarships by not writing about them.

Excuse me, but how many times in a season should I run their stats? And should I start when the season starts, or after the holiday break?

Could bring a new meaning to someone getting a blow during a game.

I had a parent of a porn star write a note to my boss saying I was a crappy reporter because I copy and pasted the wrong info. I said she sucked 37 dicks ("in a row?!"...you're welcome Clerks fans) instead of the backup fluffer.

I have been reporting on the fluffer scene for 13 years now and I am sick of the abuse.

I DEMAND AN APOLOGY!!!

Bravo.

I always thought these were fake too. At the same time, I always kinda secretly hope I'll see a picture of some cutie I know, while fearing I may see someone I do not want to see.

Also, what percentage of US women between 18-30 do you think have naked pics/video online somewhere? Seems like it must be significant, and theoretically you would eventually see someone you know because of it.

The No. 1 reason I visit often. :) ;D ;D ;D

Actually the odds are very low of ever seeing anyone you know.

There are approximately 314 million people that live in the United States.

Let's say I know 1,000 women as friends, coworkers, acquaintences, etc. That means my chances of seeing them in action on the Internet are 1 in 31.4 million.

Not very good odds if you ask me.

Thanks for the much-needed perspective. I think I'll stop watching porn now that I know that.

But out of that 300 million, many are babies and elderly. The vast, vast majority is men and women between 18-35 or so who are, generally, reasonably fit and attractive. I don't think the odds are quite as overwhelming as you do. And keep in mind just how much porn there is online. Your hot coworker could be all over the internet and you could spend 20 hours a week watching and never see her.
