Re: Local TV reports TO taken to Dallas Hospital...

If Mort didn't report it, it can't be true.

Re: Local TV reports TO taken to Dallas Hospital...

I saw this too. They're speculating he OD'd on the pain medication he's taking for his broken finger.

Re: Local TV reports TO taken to Dallas Hospital...

Has ESPN's Ed Werder weighed in yet?

Re: Local TV reports TO taken to Dallas Hospital...

Helluva night to be on the desk in Dallas or Fort Worth.

He's slipping into his doctor's gown as we speak.

Ummm... If it's Terrell Bolton that'd be a big news side story in Dallas. He's the former police chief who was fired/forced to resign a few years ago.

He tried to swallow his pride and just couldn't do it.

Re: Local TV reports TO taken to Dallas Hospital...

Yeah I just heard that (getting info from someone on the desk there). One station is saying one name, one is saying the other.

Greatness...the newshounds strike again. We are so ****ed up with Cowboys coverage...how do you mix that up.

CBS 11 said Baylor Dallas...TO lives around the corner from me in Irving (I think...at least he used to), so I'm certain EMC would take him to the HCA facility here in Las Colinas...they have a fully staffed ER. They could have taken him to Baylor Irving, which actually would be farely far away as well. Closest trauma center would be Parkland which is much closer than Baylor Dallas...so who knows?

Terrell Bolton would make sense, that guy may be in some hot water. Fired by the City Manager amid serious misconduct allegations...including the "Fake" Drug scandal...an episode where DPD confiscated controlled substances and arrested citizens for possession, intent to sell, etc. Many of these cases went to court, people tried and convicted only to have the original evidence tested later to discover it was baking soda or some **** like that. Pretty corrupt organization at this time.

That's a pretty massive ****-up on somebody's part if they got the names mixed up. Either one of these guys going into the hospital for a possible drug OD would be big news in Dallas.

Is Baylor Dallas the "cowboy" hospital?

That's a good question, the Tom Landry Center is there.

Re: Local TV reports TO taken to Dallas Hospital...

DALLAS (AP) — Terrell Owens was taken to the emergency room for an undisclosed reason Tuesday night, and doctors treating the Dallas Cowboys receiver were trying to induce vomiting, according to a television report.
Owens was brought by a fire rescue crew to Baylor Medical Center, Dallas-Fort Worth television station KTVT reported, citing sources the television station did not identify. A reporter for the station later said she saw Owens being wheeled down the hall.
Calls from The Associated Press to Owens’ agent, his publicist and the Cowboys were not immediately returned Tuesday night. The hospital told the AP that they do not have a patient registered by Owens’ name.
KTVT said a Dallas police spokesperson was en route to the hospital to talk about a “high profile case.”

Reporting

(CBS 11 News) DALLAS CBS 11 News has learned that Dallas Cowboys wide receiver has been taken to Baylor Medical Center. It's said that the player is being treated for some unknown problem that required emergency room treatment.

Sources tell CBS 11 News that Owens was taken to Baylor Hospital by Dallas Fire Rescue and that emergency room doctors attempted to induce vomiting.

As of 11 p.m. Baylor Hospital officials denied that Owens was getting emergency room treatment, but CBS 11 Sports Reporter Gina Miller confirmed that Owens was indeed at the hospital. Dallas Fire Rescue would not comment on any call it made to Owens home.

Two weeks ago Owens broke his hand during a football game against the Washington Redskins. It is unclear if his treatment Tuesday night is in anyway related to that.

CBS 11 News and Sports crews are monitoring the situation and will continue to update information.

Pain meds for a broken finger? Like extra-strength Advil?
For TO, wouldn't Mydol be more in line?

Re: Local TV reports TO taken to Dallas Hospital...

Motrin.
