Got the membership renewal forms for the APSE at our shop (4-man staff, 22k circ) the other day. We really don't enter the contest or go to the convention, so honestly we really don't benefit by joining except for the beautiful membership directory they send out.
Plus, after the way they seemed to yank around the smaller papers during their contest debate, we're not going to be renewing this year.
Anybody in a similar boat this year in not joining because of various reasons?
