Really, Reilly?

Sports Journalists Forum – Media, Newsroom & Reporting Talk

"There's been only one other such pitcher in the past century: Greg Harris, who threw one scoreless inning for the Expos, in 1995."

Did Reilly mean he switched pitching arms in one inning, or that he threw lefty in one inning after throwing all his others righty? Poorly worded.

Yeah, it's just an excuse to pile on.

"blowing through batters like a Cub Scout through Skittles."

That's when I stopped reading.

And here's Reilly defending Kobe to an e-mailer who expressed an opinion not unlike many expressed here.

Have at it, ladies and gents.

There is more unintentional hilarity in The Ricker's reply than in the original column.

Wonder if he'll go all Gregg Doyel on the next guy. Are you there, caller.....?

Reilly hits another one out of the park! :o

Somebody make it stop. It's painful to read. But every week it gets worse.
