WTF? Beer AND Diet Coke?Seems on topic given the thread jack - I'm surprised about Arby's buying Buffalo WildWings. Surprised Arby's is doing that well and BWs is struggling. Though I always leave BWs surprised how much I spent for what I got. Ten wings, a beer and a diet Coke shouldn't cost $20.
Well, are you chasing a beer with a Diet Coke?Taking a date to BWs? Weak.
Why would you ever chase beer with Diet Coke?Well, are you chasing a beer with a Diet Coke?
(I could actually see doing that with some very high alcohol beers, but I doubt they are served at BWW.)
Since you didn't ask ... I have attempted to quantify the "good ****," over the last few years, and someday my scale will catch on with the rest of the world.
In a nutshell:
Every good **** has four major pillars:
1. The correct amount of effort - you don't want to have to push too much, and you don't want it falling out of your butt. Just a little push to get things moving.
2. Consistency - Everyone should want to see a rope-like coil when they're finished.
3. Completeness - No one wants that, "OK - but there's more to come in an hour." You want to feel like you got it all.
4. A good clean wipe - with some minimum amount of toilet paper, you want to easily achieve that clean feeling.
drink the beer, have the DC when the food arrives. Why would you ever chase beer with Diet Coke?
You are forgetting the follow-through. Agree on the four pillars, but nobody likes to take a satisfying dump than have to clean the bowl afterward because it looks like a crime scene.
How about needing to do a double flush? No four-pillar **** would do that, because of the consistency pillar.
There was no discussion of aroma either. How about needing to do a double flush?

I walk on the weekend with a friend, through Microville on and near the Microville Tech campus. For months we would walk by cans and bottles and just say, "Wow, there's 50 cents," but just walk on by.
Earlier this year Oregon doubled the bottle deposit to 10 cents. About three weeks ago we just started carrying plastic bags, and picking up the low-lying fruit (no dumpster diving or anything like that). We now have $17 in a kitty, when it hits $25 we'll go out for breakfast.
Easy money, and it's become fun to see who can pick out a PBR, Rolling Rock or Bud Lite can from 50 feet. Restored my faith in college kids drinking cheap beer, too.
