Okay, I'm working on a feature for one of our community papers (owned by the same company as the metro) and I want to use a quote from a gamer in the metro that I wrote.

How does that work? I would assume I cite the metro and date as normal, right?

"Blah blah," he said in the Smarch 14 Big Metro.

Thanks for the help.

Just re-use it. It's the same company and you're the same reporter. Just say something along the lines of "coach Blowstick said after the game" to give it a little time reference.
