Yep. It's been forty years since Prince released Purple Rain.
I had the 1999 album and don't remember that, unless it was added to a later release once it was issued on CD.Let's go crazy.
(1999 had come out on an album of its own the year before which also featured LGC.)
I believe he may be referring to Little Red Corvette. The album version of which is a much better take than the single.I had the 1999 album and don't remember that, unless it was added to a later release once it was issued on CD.
"Let's Go Crazy" was a mindblower the first time I heard it.
Prince was incredibly prolific in the 1980s. He didn't wait long for "Purple Rain" to run its course before he released "Raspberry Beret," probably among the top six in most Prince spins today even though the album it was on ("Around the World in a Day") was a relative bust.
(And not to get all Hoffy and stuff, but he did rap on a few songs.)
Ok.Second-best album of the 1980s.
Ok.
I’ll bite.
1 has to be either “Thriller” or “Born In The USA”…..
