Princess Diana & Newsweek

There was nothing on the board about this that I could find after a search, and *now,* of course, I can't find the link to it, but, did anyone else have a problem with the pic promoted by Newsweek of Princess Diana and Kate Middleton appearing to walk side by side....?

The headline was "Diana At 50." Good God!! What next...? Next year, will they do JFK at 95?

Diana has her own FB page, too.

Am I overthinking this? Should there be as much scoffing at this as I have seen, or, since Newsweek is a sinking ship anyway, is this just much ado about nothing....?

Just want to hear what others are thinking.

Tina Brown assumes all Americans are Brit royalty-crazy. The ones that are don't read Newsweek. Weekly World News maybe.

Brown's article is a broad embarassment to thinking people, everywhere.

Diana was camera-crazy. It proved her undoing. Feel sorry for her and hers,
but she could never be confused with a brain surgeon.

I'm looking forward to Tina Brown's piece on the Lindbergh Baby, who would've been in his mid-80s by now.

And more on point, it was really, really bad photoshopping. Newsweek should be ashamed on that point alone.
