Predications time again
Thursday, August 31, 2006

The first real column I produced for this space appeared in late August of 2004 and included my predictions for the Southeastern Conference football season. So let's roll with my views on the best conference in America, the SEC.

This should go on the columns being killed thread. Props for not trying to move Ole Miss and Miss. State up from the cellar, though, I guess.

I couldn't give a **** about the SEC, but I just hope Mizzou brings the wood against Mississippi next weekend when my Mizzou Mafia shows up for the game. Otherwise, I'm getting drunk.

Oh, hell, you're getting drunk no matter who wins.

No, but anyone going to a Mizzou football game either goes to it drunk, gets drunk in the stands or gets drunk after.

There are a couple of ex-Mississippi Press employees on this board...and that paper didn't get better after our departures.

The rapidly-increasing volume of careless typos I see in the sub-100Ks I go through in
my travels is mindboggling.
