I can't speak for anyone else, but I know my traffic is down because every time I notice that a thread has several pages of new responses, I now figure by default that it's because the same four or five people are revisiting the same argument for the 47th time, with the same insults, the same stupid jokes, the same old references. It used to be that if the baseball thread had a page or two of new responses, I'd figure someone threw a no-hitter or hit four home runs. Now? I just figure it's OOP and 3OF flaming each other. And it always is.

I haven't responded to anything posted by the board member I am not supposed to name since Moddy asked us to ignore one another, so you got the bit about including my participation wrong, at least in that time frame.

And ol' Walter, you get told various rules depending upon where you are in real life. Here? No politics and obey the owner's rules on pictures. Movie theater? Don't smoke. Don't talk while the picture is playing. Every place has its rules.

But I would respectively submit that some of "sky is blue " debates are what engaged the board membership. Yes sometimes those debates got out
of hand but overall debate is really the lifeblood of the board in my mind.

Naw, seriously, I get the idea from my conversations with Jeff he's very familiar with online forums and those who populate them. That he's willing to spend some money on this joint and be involved tells me all I need to know, even if I didn't agree with him on things. But I do. He has the right idea and haters gonna hate no matter what.

Now I'm responsible for the hospice state this board now languishes under? I wasn't even here for a week, guy.
Crying to moderators, gnashing your teeth about the state of a board- the Internet ain't a place to show this sort of weakness.
You either pick up your weapons and engage or you are nothing more than bacon on the plate.
