..still waiting on facts.

Again, I'll let the man speak for himself.....

Griffin: "There are rumors you have not been faithful to your wife. You want to address that, sir?"

Ravenstahl: "Erin and I have made the decision that we have. We're not going to sit here and answer specific questions or answer rumors. Those things have been out there for some time. We've agreed to deal with this in a very personal way and we'll continue to do that."

Griffin: "You plan to be very aggressive with people who come out of the woodwork and say, 'The mayor's cheating' or 'The mayor was with this person or that person.' Do you plan on being very aggressive, sir?"

Ravenstahl: "Well again, it's the nature of this business. People will say things."

Twice given a chance to answer a question, twice gives some weak-ass vague, politispeak bull****. If you have nothing to hide.....

I just really hope you never go through a difficult time in your life. And if you do,

Hopefully you never go through a difficult time in your life. But, if you do, I am sure you would really appreciate people insinuating things, people making claims, people suggesting transgressions, when they had zero facts.
I hope doing such a thing about someone you do not know makes you feel better.

I understand a lot more about this particular situation than I care to mention on a message board, and what you are saying about Luke is downright despicable.

Lord help you if you ever go through a difficult time in your life.

Ah, so the truth comes out - he's a friend of yours and you are blinded by that.

It is a very simple question to answer.....

"Did you cheat on your wife?"

"No, I did not."

That is how an innocent person would answer the question.

"Did you cheat on your wife?"

"My wife and I are going through a tough time and have decided to keep this very private and as such I am only going to say this is a strain on our marriage and on our life and what happens between a man and woman is private and to make sure that nobody finds out the truth we are going to hire a high-priced pit bull lawyer and sick him on any media member who goes searching for the facts....."

That is how a bull****ter who is almost certainly guilty as charged would answer the question.

That seems pretty clear to me.

But again, I'll say it one more time, I'll let his own answers be the evidence and let those who read them decide for themselves. There is absolutely no reason for him to not answer the question, well, unless he doesn't want the answer to come back to haunt him in political ads down the road.

What does this have to do with Ben Roethlisberger?

Damn, beat me to it.

This is what you get when you have a mayor who looks up to Roethlisberger as a role model?

On this, we can agree - the mayor is a major league dolt.

In fact, the latest from our idiot boy mayor is this - he recently pulled a Tiger Woods with some "city consultant" who the city was paying to come into town weekly and of course, got caught and had to send out a press release saying he and his wife were seperating and he asked people to respect their privacy.....

Sure seems like you called it a fact to me, Zag.

So much for no politics.

Zag, you're quoting an attack on a Democrat by Colin McNickle as something related to facts? Seriously?

That's like arguing that Troy Polamalu is the best player in the NFL and using quotes from fans in the crowd at Heinz Field to back up your point.

Never once said it was facts - -I said I'll let the evidence speak for itself and let people decide for themselves.

I was using Colin McNickles column because it was a brief and to the point little snippet laying out the sillinees it is that a mayor - who, cough, cough, is seperating from his wife -- needed to hire a defamation lawyer to try and stop the media from, well, you know doing its job.

And gee, what a surprise, you brought up Troy Polamalu and the Steelers on a thread that has nothing to do with either......

I used him as an example of a ridiculously biased source of information, one that seemed to fit given how much you love to rant against Steelers fans. And McNickle is a ridiculously biased source.

You say, "There is absolutely no reason for him to not answer the question."
Perhaps because he wants to keep the matter private.

And, again, you are so far off on what you think it going on, you have put the cart so far before the horse, it is laughable.

Don't let the facts (none in this case) get in the way of a good piece of fiction.

Again, I hope you never have a troubling time in your life.

Checked his party affiliation and wasn't surprised. What YankeeFan said; as if students have it bad enough with college tuition. Damn. (Oh, the politics board is closed, that's right...)

Post 2,500 and it turned out to be political. I'll try harder for sports on my 3,000th go-round. ;D

Yeah, because the other party has so much room for self-satisfaction when it comes to fiscal responsibility.

The plank in your own eye, etc.
